What does quality smell like? EOU is the answer. It’s the main ingredient in the wide range of essential oils we offer. If a product earns the EOU label, you can count on it being of the highest quality.

Please read our label carefully because it provides all the important information about the oils including botanical name, part of plant used, method of isolation, country of origin and chemical class of the oil (monoterpene, sesquiterpene, monoterpenol, sesquiterpenol, aldehyde, ketone, ester, etc.).

All EOU oils are GC/MS analyzed by Applied Essential Oil Research for quality assurance and all oils must meet strict odor and analytical requirements before they are accepted for purchase.

All 16 oz. (1 lb) sizes and up are shipped in durable and attractive Aluminum Bottles. Our one ounce and four ounce sizes come in very high quality cobalt blue Boston round bottles. We used to use a square frosted glass bottle for the one ounce size, and hope to eventually be able to go back to that again, if the situation with availability ever changes. We prefer the colorless frosted bottles because they allow the customer to appreciate the beautiful spectrum of colors that these oils exhibit. We feel that it’s impossible to fully experience an essential oil without being familiar with all its characteristics, including its odor, flavor, chemistry and its color.
